ABOUT AKINA
|
| As she grew older her social life started, she discovered boys but did leave school with 8 GCSE's, unfortunately her grades were not as good as she could of achieved if she had studied more. She decided to go into the 6th form but after a term decided this was not for her - which was fine but she had to get a job. With no real qualifications she got a job in a factory in Thame and worked there for about a year, when one day she came home and said she wanted to go to college in Aylesbury and take a Beauty Therapy course. This she completed qualified and took on a private course in False Nails, again she qualified, but decided the hours were long, the salary was small and decided she wanted to buy her own flat so needed to earn money |
| Akina approached a local Estate Agency and was taken on as a Negotiator, and after working all hours and selling lots of houses she finally bought her own flat in Aylesbury. Her social life was hectic, to say the least, she had many failed relationships and seemed very lonley, so she decided she wanted a dog. Bailey arrived and that puppy changed her life, if it was not for him I dread to think how her life would of gone, she stopped having such a wild social life, got rid of all the useless men in her life and concentrated on Bailey who depended on her. |

| Six months ago she decided that Bailey was lonely and got him a sister, Belle. The three of them now run around the fields and of course they are her babies. Bailey is now nearly 2 and Belle 8 months old. Akina then sold her flat, moved to another house, got herself a new job, it was time for her to focus on her passion, singing. |
| At her local radio station (her new job), she asked on of the presenters if they knew of a good Producer that she could work with her aim was to do a 3 track demo disk, she had done 2 basic demos in the past but they were all covers, so after being given Appletree Studios number and speaking to the Producer, Philip Goss, Akina did her first serious demo, which was very impressive, so her mother raised the money to record a full blown album, she went into the studio with Phil in January 2008 and recorded 11 original tracks and as they say, the rest is history. |
